Ella Williams – President/CEO
Ms. Ella Williams founded Aegir Systems in 1981 and built Aegir as a Minority Owned Small Business and Woman Owned Small Business delivering engineering and technical services with high level of customer satisfaction and an impressive customer following. Under the direction of Ms. Williams, Aegir has provided award winning Homeland Defense services to public agencies since entering the field in 1991, including Defense Engineering and Technical Services for missile systems and targets, combat and weapon systems, full lifecycle support, research development test and evaluation, configuration and documentation management, operations and maintenance and other management and administrative support. Aegir has been the recipient of multiple contracts with the NSWC PHD and the NAWC WD over the past thirty five years and consistently achieved the highest CPARs ratings. Ms. Williams’ favorite quote “Everything I am is because of the time, energy, effort and love my mother put in me.”
Jack Malone – Sr. VP and Chief Financial Officer
Jack Malone worked in different functions in the Aegir’s Financial Department and is running the financial operations of the company in the role of Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Malone has managed in excess of 80 million dollar of contracts for the Department of Defense, Homeland Defense services, the Department of Transportation, and other large government organizations. Mr. Malone has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the California State University, Northridge.
Darrell Gooden – Sr. VP and Business Development
Dr. Darrell Gooden provides strong leadership to Aegir with developing strategies to secure contracts. Dr. Gooden led acquisition logistics teams involved in various phases of the acquisition process, e.g., NAVSEA ERP and FFG-7 Logistics Support Analysis and retired at GS15 level with the Navy . He established the Navy’s Lean Six Sigma College West Coast campus. Darrell Gooden holds a PhD in Organization Transformation Studies from the Adizes Graduate School. Dr. Gooden has a Master of Science Degree in Technology Management from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Redlands, CA. He obtained a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) level III certification. Dr. Gooden is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
Wes Holser – Sr. VP and Engineering Director
Wes Holser – MSSE, MBA, LS-BB – Expert in leading technical organizations; driving transformation; shepherding innovation and creativity as well as leveraging technology to increase productivity, profits and improve employee satisfaction / retention. Skilled in management by metrics; technical writing; strategic planning and Lean organizational change. Published technical author and educator. Experienced in both public organizations and private companies across multiple sectors – defense, manufacturing, education and construction. Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Blackbelt) as well as DoD Program Management and Systems Engineering
